Treasurer reported our balance is $47,752 but does not yet include $2654 from 6/4 Registered shoot that will push us over $50k. Impressive.Our Real Estate tax valuation decreased! We are going to replace Jerry Steinauer check signing capacity with Greg Newton.

New members voted in: Kristy Huston, Dave and Cherrie Williams, Luke Billings, Pam Gonzales, William Newcom, Laurie Proulx, Ellen Mesaros.

That’s 191 members YTD.

Doug Drier announced we will have a BVSC Gun Show in Salida on August 25, 26 and 27. Already over half the tables are taken. Will need members to volunteer their time to run this show, Possibly the last as Colorado has passed a 3 day delay on firearms purchases.

Pistol Chair reported their storage container finally arrived. There are 8 ladies currently in pistol training.  Thanks to Rex for getting the club over 40 new members.

Trap division hosted an ATA Registered shoot 6/4.  There were 23 shooters including 3 from New Mexico. The shoot netted over $1,000. Eric Phillips won HOA, Young Guns Dawson Martinez and Kira Fritz each received 2 trophies, Jerry Steinauer won 3. The trap league made a deposit to the club of $5,700.

New Business: Motion approved to explore using Venmo as a form of payment.

Motion made for BVSC to sponsor 2 teens to attend 2024 NRA Adventure Camp at the Whittington Center in New Mexico. A 12 day camp exploring firearms, safety, archery and outdoor skills could be life changing for the kids. The cost is $1,300 per camper.
