Trap Report

  • Wednesday and Saturday Shoots: There has been inconsistent leadership available to host the weekly shoots over the last few months. Here are the solutions discussed.

    • Jim DePetro and Jody Smith will be around the next three weeks to unlock the trap house.

    • A key to the trap houses is also available on the wall next to the safe in the clubhouse. All members have access to the clubhouse is via the lockbox on the south side door; the code to the lockbox is on the back of your membership card. Here are the notes on how to setup the trap house for shooting.

      • Trap Setup Notes:

        • Remove padlocks on front of trap house and fold   door down.

        • DO NOT stand in front of the thrower when   powering on – risk of injury.

        • Tension the belt by turning the knob until   engaged, then add four full turns.

        • Always release belt tension after shooting.

        • Lock the trap house when finished and put key back in clubhouse.

    • Join the BVSC Trap Shoots Signal Group:

  • Clubhouse Camping Permit:

    • We have a permit that allows 4 RVs to park at the clubhouse during ATA shoot weekends. It's posted above the filing cabinet in the clubhouse. Fee: $10/night.
