Pledge of Allegiance started meeting, 7:00 pm

October minutes read and approved 

Treasurer reported a positive cash balance of $32,057. In the new year we will have to account for any sales tax on wholesale goods( shells, etc) sold to members.

New members voted in: Frederick Turner, Cheston Hart and Bob Germer. That’s 210 members this year!!!

Trap report: We will be building wooden barn doors on the target trailer soon. About ready to buy a pallet of shells. In the new year all shells and components will be locked in the clubhouse storage room. We can then track all purchases for inventory and sales tax.

Old Business:

Matt Harutun will renew our 501-C and track and report our sales tax data.

Plate rack for pistol range - Rex is monitoring the price to see if they go on sale for the holiday.

Our Turkey Shoot will be held 10am November 11 at the trap range with 6 games. November 12, 10 am at the rifle range playing 10 games. Prizes will be turkeys and ham. Come out and join the fun.

Rifle Range sight in days have postponed till next year.

Our youth team, Young Guns won their 1A USA Clays League by 200 targets!! Way to go youngsters and kudos to coaches Farber and Phillips!!

We are exploring a CPW grant for refurbishing the traps and houses.

New Business:

Discussion occurred regarding BV Police Department club membership. By their request we granted them a corporate membership. They pay for 18 officers and control officer participation.

Motion made to review and edit the membership application form.

Membership renewal dues are to be paid by January 2024.

Nominations are now open for 2024 Officers: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and Executive Officer. Anyone interested in serving the Club should come forward in the December meeting. Voting for the new board members will be held at the Annual Business Meeting in January .
