Treasurer reported a cash balance of $27,672 with a recent debit of $9027 (pretax) for a pallet of shells.

We will start tracking component sales to enable filing sales tax reports. You’ll have to sign out for shells, lead shot, etc.

New members voted in: Nika Starr, Jerry McMurry, Richard and Mary Willard for 2024.
It’s time to pay your 2024 dues fellows. Individual membership $40, family $60.

Old Business: 

Several members testified in front of the BV Board of Trustees before their vote to approve our 10 year lease extension through 2034!!

Wooden doors were built for the target trailer, thanks Rex.

Plate Rack was purchased on sale, Rex and Jake will weld and assemble it for the pistol range.
Turkey Shoot lost a few bucks but was a fun, successful event. Don’t miss it next year.

NRA Whittington Center Adventure Camp winners are Ty Munchoff, Trace Steed and Dawson DePetro. Young Guns AODD is sending Taya Martinez. Congratulations youngsters!

We received $4200 in donations to cover the $3900 cost from generous donors: Salida Gun Shop, Allen Drilling, SDCEA and Comfurt Gas.

New Business:

New locks will be installed in all trap houses and trailers. You’ll get new codes for rifle range and clubhouse when you renew for 2024.

Young Guns were featured in Chaffee County Times for their exciting 1st place in USA Clays League 1A! Dawson Martinez had the league high average.

There will be a rimfire shoot Sunday, 12/10 at 11 am. Three events, 20 shots each with bull barrel.22, sporting.22 and .17 hmr cost $5 each.

Nominations are now open for 2024 Officers up until the ballot vote at the January Board Meeting  January 3,2024.

To cast a vote in the election you must be present at the Jan 3rd meeting. The meeting starts at 7pm and is held at the BVSC Clubhouse next to the rodeo grounds. Separate emails will be sent with election specifics.
